University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn is a longstanding member of the Microeconomics of Competitiveness network established by Harvard Business School which is comprised of organizations conducting research on clusters and cluster-led development. This partner has been involved in various cluster organizations within its region and has extensively cooperated with the regional government of the Warmia and Mazury voivodeship concerning the establishment of regional development policies.
Tenderix, established in 2007, works in areas including programme development and management, analysis, benchmarking, evaluation and assessment, sectorial analysis, market research, as well as economic and social science research. The company has accumulated substantial experience related to EU Cohesion policy both at programme and project level. A major focal area of their activity is economic development, SME development, and innovation policy with special regards to the Structural Funds programmes available in Hungary. Tenderix completed many assignments related to clusters in the past 15 years. They have provided expert services in transnational projects on clusters (ClusterCOOP, CluSTRAT, ClusteriX, CENTRAMO, ACE).
Tomas Bata University in Zlín is highly experienced in research of clusters, cluster organisations and cluster policy topics, cooperating long time with a number of cluster organisations within Zlín region, the Czech Republic, and also at international level, mainly in the form of providing and managing research activities. This partner cooperates very intensively with regional and government authorities and National Cluster Agency. It has carried out several projects focused on establishment, networking, support, and evaluation of cluster organisations. Tomas Bata University is also a longstanding member of the Microeconomics of Competitiveness network established by Harvard Business School.
Alexander Dubček University of Trenčín is highly experienced with the wide spectrum of research focused on areas of personnel management, health care, engineering and special technology, materials engineering and ecology, but also technologies in the field of glass and ceramics. The university conducts research for domestic companies, e.g. VÚEZ, Zlate Moravce, RONA, Lednicke Rovne, Mikon, Puchov, HELLA, Ltd. Bánovce nad Bebravou, but also for foreign entities such as AGH University Krakow and Ceitec VUT Brno. The specific focus of its research is aimed at clusters and small and medium-sized enterprises at regional level. University took part in two international projects focused on cluster cooperation.
